- Ang salitang "Opisyal" ay tumutukoy sa pag-aari ng xat.com sa isang chat group.
- Bagaman ang mga chats na ito ay hindi pinapatakbo ng mismong tauhan ng xat, ito ay pagmamay-ari pa rin ng xat.com at pinamamahalaan ng mga itinakdang user.

Rules for Unofficial / Tribute Chats
Unofficial / Tribute chats should follow the rules below:
- Main owners should behave with professionalism and integrity. They should also conduct themselves properly while on Official chats.
- Main owners should consult xat when appointing another main owner.
- The chat should remain active.
If these rules are not followed, the main owner may receive a warning. If this warning is ignored, the chat may be removed from the lists above.
