Om je eigen afbeeldingen op xat te gebruiken, moet je ze uploaden naar een vertrouwde host. Nadat je een afbeelding hebt geüpload, zal je de Direct Link moeten gebruiken om de afbeelding op je profiel of als je avatar te laten verschijnen.

xat heeft sommige restricties met betrekking tot het gebruik van verschillende image hosting websites. Er zijn restricties om de toegang tot ongepaste inhoud te beperken. Vanaf nu zijn 'Photobucket, Tinypic, Imageshack, Imgur, Cubeupload, Postimage, en Uploads.im de enige websites die je kunt gebruiken.

If you want to request for another image host to be unblocked, you may do so by opening a ticket under the department of "Domain Unblock" at xat.com/ticket.

Afbeelding host providers

Hieronder staat een lijst van vertrouwde afbeeldingproviders. Zorg er alsjeblieft voor dat je de Servicevoorwaarden van xat en de afbeeldingprovider lezen en dat je met alles akkoord gaat voordat je elke afbeeldingen uploadt.

Imgur: Non-animated: 1MB upload limit if uploading without an account, 5MB upload limit if uploading with an account. If uploaded above the limit, the image will be compressed. Animated Images: 200MB upload limit. Note: Imgur no longer appears on xat.me profiles.

Cubeupload: 5MB upload limiet / Vereist geen geregistreerde account.

Postimage: Je kunt een onbeperkt aantal afbeeldingen uploaden. Je hoeft je niet te registreren om afbeeldingen te uploaden.

ImgBB: 32MB upload limit. Registration or login is not required to upload images.

Imgyukle: 100MB upload limit. Registration or login is not required to upload images.

xat Images: 5MB upload limit. Registration or login is not required to upload images.

Hieronder staat instructies over hoe afbeeldingen te uploaden naar verschillende websites.

Opmerking: Als je een .GIF geanimeerde avatar gebruikt, zorg ervoor dat je de xat Geanimeerde Strip Converter gebruikt.

Bestanden uploaden naar Imgur

Upload to Imgur by going to the website and clicking the “New post” and then “Upload images”. You can either upload from your computer, upload from an Image URL, drag-and-drop the image, or paste the image by using CTRL + C and CTRL + V. Click on the uploaded image to get the direct link at the top right corner of the image.

Bestanden uploaden naar Cubeupload

Het uploaden van je afbeeldingen naar Cubeupload gaat snel en eenvoudig. Ga naar Cubeupload en klik op de knop "Select Images." Selecteer de afbeelding die je wilt uploaden en klik op "Select". Wacht dan een paar seconden en kopieer de eerste link die onder de afbeeldingsvoorvertoning verschijnt.

Bestanden uploaden naar Postimage

Om een afbeelding te uploaden naar Postimage, klik op de knoppen "Upload" en "Choose images". Selecteer dan het bestand dat je wilt uploaden.

Uploading to ImgBB

To upload to ImgBB, click "Start Uploading" and choose your image. Click the image preview to edit or resize your image. Then, click "Upload". Once your image has been uploaded, click the image preview and then, when the image appears on the next screen, right click it and click "Copy image address".

Uploading to Imgyukle

To upload to Imgyukle, click "Start Uploading" and choose your image. Click the image preview to edit or resize your image. Then, click "Upload". Copy the "Image URL" link below the image preview.

Uploading to xat Images

To upload to xat Images, click "Choose file" and choose your image. Then, click "Upload". Copy the "Direct Link" URL below the progress bar once it's uploaded.

Een directe link als je xat Avatar gebruiken

Om een directe link als je xat avatar te gebruiken, kopieer de directe link en plak het in de avatar doos.

Een afbeelding als een chat achtergrond uploaden

To edit your backgrounds, go to the Edit Group page, type your group's name and password, then click "login".

For the inner background, paste the Direct Link of the inner background into the "Background" box right under "chat". For the outer background, paste the Direct Link of the outer background into the "Background" box right under "group". Once it's done, you can press "save" and then "preview" to see how it will look like without having to wait.

Note: You can also use the color picker to choose a color to serve as a background.

Here is a list of standard sizes that are used to customize your chat and other features.

• Inner background: 728x486 pixels

• Outer background: 2560x1440 pixels

• Banner for promotion: 728x90 pixels

• Vote background: 425x600 pixels

• Zoom avatar and 3d gif iframe: 80x80 pixels

• Default avatar and 2d gif iframe: 30x30 pixels
